The Event Cornwall team are proud of their events, and are committed to delivering creative, bespoke and practical solutions to our client's needs.
It's also really exciting when we get recognised by our peers for excellence in our field, and over the past 12 months we have received a number of awards that acknowledge our commitment to delivering fantastic events.
Award winning events
Film on the Fal is a unique event in the Cornish event calendar, and it won not one but two awards during the last year. The first was at the UK Event Awards, where it scooped "Best Small Event", alongside BBC Blast which won the Best Education Event as well as the Chairman's Award. It then went on to win Bronze in "Best Event in a Public Space" at the Eventia Awards. It's a great honour to be recognised in this category where we were up against Sky, Barclays and O2!

We were also awarded the "Best Managed Small Business" title in the Cornwall Sustainability Awards for our consideration of the environment and local community. Minimising our impact on the environment in all areas of our work is a fundamental part of our practice, and we were delighted to be recognised for our work in this area.
Having a healthy and productive workforce is important to Event Cornwall, and we recognise that the key to survival and success is the most important asset, the staff! We've been working towards the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Healthy Workplace award, which is a county standard of good practice and a quality mark of health and wellbeing in the workplace, and we have recently gained the Silver award!
We are now working towards the Gold award, so keep checking back to see our progress!
