Tea! Tea! Tea! Cuppa Tea Galore at Falmouth Tea Fest

It was all teas on deck when a festival of everything tea took place in the grounds of Gyllyngdune Gardens on Sunday 2nd September.

During the day there was an array of tea-related treats planned including tea talks, tea dances, tea traders and exhibitions, tea trails for the young ones, tea ladies on tour, tea tales from the Travelling Tales Man, tea workshops and crafts with live music throughout.

From 7pm, there was a fun-filled evening of tea cocktails and cabaret, which is hosted by the masters of quirk, Trifle Gathering Productions. If you're familiar with their hugely successful play, The Charity Shop Cabaret.

Add to the teapot a spoonful of arts and crafts and the rich tea heritage of Gyllyngdune, which was once owned by Mr Horniman (a rather eccentric tea merchant) and you have a tea festival which was fun for all ages.
