Truro sparkles with Christmas spirit Monday 9th January 2012

Truro was full of festive atmosphere in the weeks leading up to Christmas 2011.

The City was sparkling with annual events such as the Reindeer Procession, City of Lights and the Victorian market, accompanied by the sights and sounds of festive cheer.

Thousands of eager shoppers visited the city over the festive period, wandering through the streets under the Christmas lights, and accompanied by seasonal music programmed by Event Cornwall.

Big Bands played out on Lemon Quay by the Christmas Tree, whilst carollers sang at Victoria Square, and local musicians performed throughout the streets.
