Heartlands - Community

Community events are an essential part of our portfolio, and lie at the very foundation of who we are and how we work.

We recognise that communities thrive when they are brought together in shared activities to celebrate place and people. From small scale village fetes to lantern parades attended by 25,000, we aim to create and deliver events that make communities proud.

Community events that we have delivered include:

Spring Festival (March 2011) - festival development, event co-ordination, partner liaison

Tea Dance with a Twist (April 2011) - event co-ordination and site management

Culdrose Football Fun Day (May 2011) - event co-ordination, partner liaison, supplier sourcing and site management

Henri LLoyd Falmouth Week (2009 - 2011) - partner liaision, evaluation strategy development and implementation, event co-ordination, and site management

White River Place Fun days (2011) - event co-ordination and site management

Be Active Truro (2011) - event co-ordination, festival development, and site management

Unveiling of 'The Drummer' (2011) - event co-ordination, partner liaison, supplier sourcing, site management and VIP liaison

 Heartlands Launch (July 2010) - project development, event co-ordination, project management and delivery of the event

Cornwall Film Festival (2009 - 10) - event co-ordination, project management and general management of the festival operation

Music Truro (2008 - 2010) - project development, promotion, co-ordination & delivery of the city-wide music festival with Totally Truro.

Tolvaddon Regeneration Group - Launch of new playpark (2010)

Footsteps to Copenhagen (2009) - event co-ordination for this festival of events throughout Cornwall leading up to the Copenhagen Summit on climate change

Art in the City (2009 - 2012) - project development, promotion, co-ordination & delivery of city-wide Art Festival with Totally Truro
