Film on the Fal

Film on the Fal is a fantastic example of our aim to make exciting events happen, as we transformed the King Harry Ferry into a floating cinema!

Our first screening on the River Fal took place 3 years ago when we held a sell-out screening of Jaws, and since then audiences have enjoyed screenings of the Poseidon Adventure, Titanic and Dead Calm.

Taking place as part of the Fal River Festival, we work in partnership with King Harry's Cornwall to deliver this unique and exciting event, which sees audiences boarding the ferry for a cinematic experience unlike any other.

In 2010, the event won two national awards when it was voted the Best Small Event at the recent UK Event Awards, and won the Bronze award at the Eventia Awards. The screenings are designed to embrace the atmosphere of each location, and we have chosen films to reflect this.

Following on from the success of Film on the Fal, we have expanded our programme into The Outdoor Screenings Season, with screenings taking place at locations such as Adrenalin Quarry and Pendennis Castle, as well as the Ferry at Feock. For more information about our screenings please click here
